This month on ATG we'll raise a glass of Pabst Blue Bubbly to Wayne's World; do a funked-up hit from the Yellowjackets' personal stash; sample King Curtis' Memphis Soul Stew; make a small improvement to mother nature -- changing hummingbirds into drummingbirds; and trade-in a couple of minor drumming rudiments for a magical cauldron that bestows the gift of song upon the owner.

This month's webcast is the 23rd edition of ATG, first posted the week of October 22, 2006. Of particular importance on this month's show are tracks from a one-man band named Nino Maschella, the masada rock of John Zorn, Bobby Previte's musical call to arms, and Jack DeJohnette's tribute to Tony Williams.

Known Errors (as of 10/22):
1. During the webcast, the host mistakenly identifies Bobby's Previte's Versificator as Airstrip One.
2. On the low-bandwidth webcast ("drummagic"), there is a small but significant amount of noise on the host's vocal tracks. There is no such noise on the master tracks, only on the webstream. I am looking into this matter, and I believe it originates with the newly defined "normalization" standards imposed on ATG's tracks by live365's servers.
