Webcast Title: ATG 24
Webcast Date: beginning Monday, January 8, 2007
Webcast Time: daily at 9-11 AM and 7-9 PM (MST)
This month on Ain't That a Groove, we'll appease the voodoo gods with a copious offering of polyrhythmic percussion, pay our respects to the Godfather of Soul, get on the goodfoot with the ghost of Frank Zappa, renew our acquaintance with the modern marimba, and make a brief stop at the North Pole.
This edition of ATG is the 24th installment of our periodic program, Odds and Sods, and was first webcast on January 9, 2007. The show is 2.5 hours long, and includes appearances by Ed Palermo's Big Band, TV on the Radio, Gateway, The Concordia Orchestra, Gary Novak,Paul Motian, and illustrious others. Because ATG 24 was designed for webcast during the Winter Solstice, it also includes several drum tracks suitable for the holidays.
