Webcast Title: ATG 25
Webcast Date: beginning Sunday, April 15, 2007
Webcast Time: daily at 9-12:30 AM and 7-10:30 PM (MST)
This month on ATG we’ll welcome drummer Dennis Chambers back to the pocket, call upon the spirit of the late-great Jaco Pastorius, go to the school on the math rockers, Don Caballero, testify to Robben Ford’s resurrection of a forgotten Beatles classic, and add deadwings to deerhoofs just to see what happens.
This springtime show is the 25th installment of our periodic program, Odds and Sods, first webcast on April 2nd, 2007. The content in the drumming abandanza is three hours long, and includes appearances by drummers Kim Plainfield, Dallas Taylor, Gavin Harrison, Dave Weckl, Jeff Ballard, Evelyn Glennie, and 21 others who’ve got boogie on the brain. Of particular importance on this edition of ATG are brief tributes to saxophonist Michael Brecker and record man, Ahmet Ertegun.
And finally, allow me to remind you that ATG remains a non-profit, community services station. The show is produced and paid for entirely by yours truly without any assistance or support of any kind from the music industry.
